The Centre for Race Autobiography Gender and Age, University of British Columbia (RAGA)
The Centre for Race Autobiography Gender and Age studies fosters interdisciplinary critical race and feminist scholarship with a focus on auto/bio/graphy in its broadest interpretation. RAGA also works collaboratively with community organizations to promote social change based on principles of equity and social justice. The Centre houses resources and materials that it makes available to scholars from across Canada and around the world. In addition to welcoming Visiting Scholars, RAGA organizes conferences, workshops and other public events to promote academic exchange and community partnerships. RAGA is based at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada and is affiliated with the UBC Centre for Women’s and Gender Studies.
The Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at SFU and Dr. Dana Olwan
Dr. Olwan is the Ruth Wynn Woodard Chair in Women's Studies at Simon Fraser University for the year 2011-2012.
